After months of planning, preparing – and to be honest, stressing just a little – Tawba Fest 2016 co-presented by Riverwalk Carolinas and the Stephen Cooley Real Estate Group is officially history. We want to thank EVERYONE who attended and visited on site with us. It was our pleasure and honor to be able to bring attention to an incredible community set in a one-of-a-kind location. The festival highlighted everything unique and wonderful about Riverwalk and allowed us to meet with so many people from Rock Hill and beyond. In addition to the market vendors, craft beer, Spartan workout and overall family friendly fun, the event also raised money for a very important local cause. We are so glad we were able to participate in something that raised awareness and much needed funds for the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. From their own website, the Riverkeeper foundation’s mission statement reads as follows:
“We educate and advocate to protect the Catawba-Wateree River Basin’s lakes, rivers and streams for everyone who depends on and enjoys them
