Heather joined the Stephen Cooley Real Estate Group earlier in 2018 and we are so happy that she did! She works out of our Fort Mill location and is crushing it in this real estate market and hosting open houses in our listings. When she’s not busy working her SCREG leads, she’s spending time with her family or working with the local Triple Negative Breast Cancer support group.
How long have you been with the SCREG?
Since April 2018
How did you hear about the Stephen Cooley Real Estate Group?
My old Broker In Charge in Blowing Rock is friends with Stephen.
What’s your favorite thing about being a part of this agent group?
My favorite thing about being part of this group is that everyone works together for the good of the client. Team members are quick to reach out a helping hand when needed to make sure the clients are well taken care of.
What makes the Greater Charlotte area a great place to live?
There is an abundance of things to do from sporting events to whitewater rafting. Our area offers some of the best restaurants and we regularly get great shows at the uptown theater. The schools are good and the city is safe which brings lots of families to our area. Located just two hours from the mountains and 2 ½ hours from the beach you have the best of both worlds for a quick weekend get away.
When you’re not busy helping your clients, what do you do in your spare time?
I spend time with my family and my two dogs, read, and work with the Triple Negative Breast Cancer support group.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Tampa, FL and came to Charlotte shortly after graduating college to teach.
Do you have any hobbies?
My hobbies are reading and fishing
Why did you want to become a real estate agent?
I worked as the office manager for a boutique luxury real estate company and I wanted to have my license so that I was better at my job. In 2014 we relocated back to Charlotte and I decided to sell real estate full time.
For 2018, what are you most excited about in the real estate market?
Even though rates are supposed to rise higher, I’m most excited about rates staying reasonably low overall for buyers to be able to get in to a home.
