How long have you been in real estate?
Since 1978.
What was a driving factor in choosing real estate as a Career?
We had moved multiple times and knew it had to be easier than this. When my youngest went to kindergarten and my oldest to college I went into Real Estate.
How long have you known Stephen?
30 years.
Have you and Stephen worked together before?
Worked together before at Coldwell Banker and we were friendly competitors. It’s funny, we never overlapped in the buying and selling process.
What makes the Greater Charlotte area a great place to live?
Everything, the quality of life here is amazing. It’s just big enough, and just small enough, I’m talking Rock Hill. We have Charlotte right in our backyard, we have the best of both worlds. This area is on such a positive move, great place to raise a family and to retire to and all the in-between.
When you’re not busy helping your clients, what do you do in your spare time?
Go away to my lake place, Belleview, which means ‘beautiful view.’ Boy and Girls Club are my main charity!
How do you balance things between work and family time?
I’m fortunately good at time management thank goodness, I have always been very involved with my family having 3 sons and 6 grandchildren. I never missed a ballgame, I just scheduled by appointments around it. Time management is an art, sometimes it happens easily and sometimes you have to work on it.
For 2018, what are you most excited about in the real estate market?
