The People of SCREG: Sahara Kocot

Sahara Kocot has been living the Greater Charlotte area for 5 years and has made this her forever home. Her greatest passion is helping others, especially when it comes to the greatest investment of their lives – the place they call home. She has a strong work ethic and dedication to her clients and their needs. When not working, Sahara enjoys spending quality time with her family both here and out of state.

How long have you been with the SCREG?

I have been with the Stephen Cooley Real Estate Group since October of 2018!

How did you hear about the Stephen Cooley Real Estate Group?

I had seen billboards and advertisements prior to joining, but it was actually Zachary Luke of Zachary Luke Designs that introduced me to Stephen.

What’s your favorite thing about being a part of this agent group?

Stephen’s leadership is unparalleled and drives me to further push the boundaries of what success is to me. I am so blessed to work with this group of amazing individuals and the passion that we all have for what we do every day truly shows.

What makes the Greater Charlotte area a great place to live?

This area is the absolute best. You can stay local and go Uptown to the city, or take a short drive to the mountains or the coast to visit the beaches. There is always plenty to do for everyone and all interests. My heart is in the Carolinas and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else now that I am in Charlotte.

Are you from Charlotte or the surrounding area? If not, tell us where you’re from and how you came to Charlotte.

I am originally from Myrtle Beach, SC and lived there for 16 years before moving to Fort Myers, FL with my family. After graduating, I decided to take a leap of faith and move to Rock Hill with friends from high school. It was the best decision, and it led me to a life I love with my husband and step-daughter.

Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?

My husband and I are big history buffs so we love watching documentaries on a variety of subjects but American and war history is a top favorite! Any time we go on vacation we are always on the lookout for interesting museums or monuments to visit. I also enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles which has become a favorite pastime for most of the family now.

For 2019, what are you most excited about in the real estate market?

2019 is coming in with a strong start in the market and I can’t wait to see how many people I am able to help find the right home throughout the year!

We were extremely pleased with overall service and very appreciative to have sold so quickly in this depressed market!
